It’s been many years since I taste “dayuling 大禹嶺” Taiwanese high mountain tea. As such this Spring 2022 harvest brought me back to those good old days. The brew yielded a beautiful light olive oil hue. Full body viscous tea with subtle yet deep powerful hints of lilac or orchid floral flavors on the palate. Deceptively and addictively elegant. Exceedingly long finish with a tea sweetness “甘gan” that lingers for a VERY long time on the rear roof of my mouth and along the sides of the throat. Another wonderful example of what the Chinese describe as “houyun 厚韻” and “huigan 回甘,” two most important indicator/descriptors of great teas. From Mountain Tea Company.
A good pot of tea completes my morning. I love to sit outside and experience nature while I savor all the varieties of tea I have purchased from your company. All of my pets ( I have 2 cats and 1 dog) always come and share the tea experience with me. I am so very thrilled with the quality of all the tea I have purchased.
