We've got a whole slew of new product updates for this blog post, including Cobb Flex Fuel for VB WRX, new Mach V titanium products, Mach V Stellar wheels, and more.
At the top of our new product news is Cobb Tuning released Flex Fuel hardware for the VB chassis (meaning model year 2022 and newer) WRX, allowing that car to accept E85, gasoline, or any combination of the two fuels. There is a full Stage 1+ Flex Fuel Power Package, plus an upgrade kit that will take you from the Cobb Stage 1 package to Stage 1+ Flex Fuel. This Flex Fuel implementation uses the CAN bus for the flex fuel data to reach the ECU, meaning there is no interfering with any of the engine's other sensors or accessories.
Here at Mach V Motorsports we enjoy coming up with our own bespoke products, and we have a few new titanium items in the catalog for you. One of our favorites is our Mach V titanium shift knob, which fits any 6-speed manual Subaru WRX or WRX STI. It's a 2" ball of solid titanium with the 6MT shift pattern laser engraved on the top. The titanium is flamed-treated to bring out a spectrum of colors ranging from deep blue to gold. It looks great and the titanium has a very nice weight and feel.
We also released a couple of smaller titanium accessories. Our Mach V titanium shift pattern plate is useful for those cars with an aftermarket knob without the shift pattern on the top, and careful heating reveals that rainbow of colors that is so distinctive to titanium products. Our Mach V titanium key fob is light and beautiful, again featuring the heat-treated titanium color spectrum. And last but not least, the Mach V titanium parking brake button is a colorful dress-up item that also allows you to configure your parking brake for "spin turn"/drift style operation.
Our final new product release is the Mach V Stellar forged wheel, which we are quite proud of. The OEM forged Subaru BBS/STi wheels that were factory issue on 2004-2007 WRX STI cars are a classic style that is now discontinued, and they are becoming quite hard to find on the used market. Our Mach V Stellar wheel pays homage to that classic wheel, in a fully forged 17x8" +48 fitment that fits great on many different Subaru models. 5x100 is in stock and 5x114 will be on our shelves soon. For now you get one color choice, which we call Legend Gold, but if there's demand we might also release this wheel in silver.
