Looking for the ultimate widebody Subaru? These fender flares take the already wide GV-chassis WRX and STI to another level entirely. They expand the car's width by 50mm (about 2") on either side, resulting in a road presence that has to be seen to believed. Polyurethane construction is tough and durable. They can be painted or left in their natural black state, although we suggest applying some kind of paint treatment to keep them from bleaching.
Installation is straightforward and hardware is included, but note that in order to fit very wide wheels and tires, you WILL have to trim away the edges of the factory bodywork. Yes, this means cutting metal. (We never said ultimate coolness was without its price.) You'll also have to unbolt the flares from the front or rear bumper in order to remove the bumper, should you ever need to do that.
You'll want to get some appropriate wheels and tires. The Galaxy Blue car in our photos has 18x10.5" +15 wheels, and 295/35R18 tires. Note that this is very aggressive fitment on this car -- use your own judgement for wheel/tire sizing, and know that you may have to deal with tire-to-bodywork clearance, or tire-to-suspension clearance issues. This kind of modification is at your own risk!
Set of four fender flares, plus installation hardware. (We do also offer individual flares for repair purposes.) Fits all 2011-2014 WRX and STI sedan. CAN be fitted to 2008-2014 hatchback cars, but minor trimming of the rear flares will be required.
Note: We've had several customers order these and then chicken out and return them when they realized that you really do have to cut up your bodywork to install the flares. To prevent possible damage from repeated back and forth UPS trips, we WILL NOT accept returns on these. Make sure you are committed before you order!
