Transmission Snout Repair Kit 2004-2021 STI

Sometimes the throwout bearing on the Subaru fails and grinds away at the snout of the transmission case. It used to be, the only fix was a whole new transmission case (more like, tran$mi$$ion ca$e!). Now there's a less expensive solution. The Snout Repair Kit includes a bolt-on adapter sleeve and a custom throwout bearing. You slip the new sleeve over the damaged transmission snout, tighten the set screws, and re-install your clutch, and you can keep your existing trans case.

Note that you need to have enough snout material left to securely mount the repair kit. You'll have to judge whether the case is too far gone or not.
