OEM Subaru fastener kit for attaching your driveshaft to your differential. Kit includes:
Fits almost all late-model Subaru cars, including all 2002+ Subaru WRX and WRX STI. Does not fit BRZ/FR-S/Toyota 86, though.
FasrWRX, I don't have a WRX, but I do have a 2002 Outback Sedan VDC with the H-6. I had to work on the trans rear seal. I had to remove the driveshaft and the old differential bolts. You can only use an open end wrench on the std hex head bolts at yhe differential. They got a bit rounded removing them. Did not want to go back with those to prevent future problems. This differential bolt kit was the perfect solution! The 3/4 circular head catches the driveshaft hub so it wont turn. Great service and shipping from Fast WRX! Trans fluid was leaking at the rear 4EAT. Replaced the seal. BTW, the new seal did not solve the leak. It turns out that the diveshaft yoke has a hole at the back end of the yoke used for machining access to create the splines. The driveshaft manufacturer actually plugged that hole with something similar to a freeze plug. That is where the leak was and is not serviceable. So I purchased JB weld clear epoxy (25 ml size) with a dual syringe and a 3" mixing nozzle. Cleaned the yoke well with brake cleaner. Hung the driveshaft so the yoke was vertical pointing down. Filled the rear of the plug with epoxy and let it cure overnight. Reinstalled the driveshaft, and the leak was solved. $6 fix with my labor versus a $500 new driveshaft. 5 Stars!!!
