Had been looking for a cool octave mandolin/bouzouki type hybrid electric instrument for live use that can stand up against a full band. Really like look and feel. The bridge and saddle is a nice touch with the pickup selector. No shortage of tones! Would be cool for an option for a hardshell case!
This thing blew me away. It arrived with a good setup and ready to go. Clear sound, great intonation and easy to play. Irish music works brilliantly on it and it’s built really welj.’mmmkjvit feels handmade. 🙏 Looks good, sounds great. What’s there not to like? A class leader.
This Octave Mando has become my favorite instrument to play. I’ve tried playing a regular mandolin but these sausage fingers of mine are just not meant for it but this instrument brings all the fun of it into a bigger instrument. Plus its electric and being one with many guitars and basses, I was drawn to its ability to amp uo and it hasn’t let me down. Also, I like owning a weird instrument most people have never seen or heard of. Take a chance and get yourself one! Beautiful tone and sound. And the construction of it is great.
