Cobb Tuning Double Adjustable Short Shifter 2002-2007 WRX

The Cobb Tuning double adjustable shifter allows you control both the height of the shift knob as well as the length of the shifter throw.

Designed using CAD technology, the billet shifter body is CNC machined from 6061 Aluminum. The shift throw distance and shift knob height are independently adjustable and both can easily be adjusted with the shifter installed in the vehicle.

Steel socket head screws are set in a counter bore for a flush mount and provide clamping force to firmly hold the upper and lower slider shafts in place. This design allows easy independant adjustment of shift knob height and shifter throw length, while being strong enough to stand up to rowing through the gears with extreme enthusiasm.

Compatible with the factory shift knob or any aftermarket knobs designed to replace the factory unit.  Knob height ranges from 1" higher than stock to 1" lower.  Throw ranges from 10% longer (requires cutting of trim ring) to 25% shorter.

IMPORTANT!  There are three versions of this shifter -- two wide versions and one narrow one.  The narrow one works with the optional factory-installed STi short shifter.  The wide versions work with the standard (non-STi) shifter.  You MUST determine if you have the STi short shifter before ordering!  Here's more information on how to know.

The wide version of the shifter is available in normal and tall heights -- the tall shifter is about 2" taller than the normal one.

Fits all 2002-2007 WRX five-speed manual cars.  Does NOT fit STI.
