Installation of the Spec-D headlamps for 2015-2021 Subaru WRX and WRX STI is MOSTLY plug-and-play, but there are a couple of details that might be helpful for your installation.
First off, these lamps are only going to be compatible with cars that have HALOGEN headlamps. The connector for the headlamp unit has six pins. If you unplug the headlamp plug for your car and it has 15 pins in it, that is NOT going to plug into this lamp unit.
Secondly, the lamps come with a little auxiliary wiring harness. It's the yellow and black little pigtail harness below:
You are going to use the little blue tap connectors to tap into the existing turn signal harness, as shown below.
You are going to need to untape the wiring loom to access the wires to tap into. See below.
Once you are all wired up, testing all lighting functions to make sure they work, then bolt the lamps into place and replace the front bumper.
