Kics Racing Caliber 24 Lug Nut Set

Kics Racing Gear lug nuts are made in Japan and are some of the most beautiful, tough, and feature-packed fasteners we sell. The Caliber 24 lug nut is as simple but beautiful fastener with some key features that distinguish it from your ordinary lug nut.

The color is what first strikes you about these lug nuts. It's a lustrous blue-purple that is made by ion deposition of titanium onto the steel lug nut. Says Kics Racing:

"Titanium coating is the best surface treatment for steel nuts with excellent surface hardness. Until now, it was impossible to produce a single-color oxide film...but the high precision of ion plating equipment has made the blue color possible."

What you might not notice immediately is that these are not hexagon fasteners. They are HEPTAGON, meaning they are seven-sided, so a normal socket will not work on them, providing excellent theft resistance. Since the fasteners are all the same design, there is no need to swap tools for fastener types in the process of taking your wheels on and off. Of course the appropriate seven-sided tool (which works with either 19mm or 21mm socket) is included. 

Caliber 24 lug nuts are forged from super-hard SCM435 ChroMoly steel. Overall length of the fasteners is 40mm, and the overall diameter is 24mm. Internal threaded length is 30mm.

Note that although the titanium plating treatment is tough and scratch resistant, it is not impervious to scratches, and it can fade in UV light. We can't warranty the surface treatment against scratches or fading. Treat them with care and keep them out of the sun if you want the colored finish to stay bright and nice.

As with any custom wheel fastener, we recommend using HAND TOOLS ONLY to install and remove these. No impact tools! Torque to the normal tightness as specified by your car's owner's manual.
