Mach V Stellar is a forged ten-spoke 17x8" wheel we developed with the specific goal of fitting older WRX and STi cars. This wheel evokes the styling of the famous forged alloy wheels that were standard-issue on 2004-2007 WRX STI models. Just like the original, our wheels are forged, for maximum strength and minimum weight.
At 17x8.0", Stellar fits most any 5x100 Subaru. The +48 offset is a little lower than the original +53, but not so much it is going to be a fitment problem on most cars
Stellar weighs just 18.1 pounds, which is about 1.5 pounds less than the OEM STi 17x8" wheel. Of course this wheel fits over four-piston Subaru STi Brembo brakes, although it probably will not fit over SIX-piston STi Brembo calipers.
Stellar is manufactured using true forging. Unlike gravity casting where liquid metal is poured into a mold, or flow forming the wheel material is heated until it is nearly liquid, forging shapes the aluminum under modest heat but extreme pressure -- 10,000 tons! Although this means a higher manufacturing cost, the result is an extremely strong and light wheel.
The +48 offset is 5mm farther from the car than the original +53 STi wheel. The 17x8" size will fit a 235/45R17 tire nicely, but a 225 width would also fit fine on the wheel.
Hub bore is 56.1mm, so it will bolt directly to any 5x100 Subaru model without the need for hubcentring rings. Accepts TPMS sensors. Center caps are NOT included, but the wheel will accept OEM Subaru/BBS center caps or Subaru STi caps, sold separately.
5x100 bolt pattern fits all 2002-2014 Subaru WRX, 2004 WRX STi, Subaru BRZ/Scion FRS/Toyota GR86, Subaru Forester up to 2018, Subaru Legacy/Outback through 2014, and many other 5x100 Subaru cars.
